Sheryle is entering her third season as Pinebrook’s Head Professional. She was born in Edmonton, Alberta, and moved to Vernon, BC at the age of 11. Sheryle started working in the golf industry in Vernon when she was 16 years old; she fell in love with the game at that time, and she’s been loving her job ever since.
Sheryle has a Golf Management Degree from Grant MacEwan College, and is TPI and Coaching Certified. Her career includes five years at the Osoyoos G&CC, three years as a full-time Instructor, and 16 years at the Silver Springs G&CC. During her time as Head Professional at the Silver Springs G&CC, Sheryle won the PGA of AB Ladies Championship, and was the 2005 PGA of AB Ladies Order of Merit winner. Along with her playing partner, she was also the 2006 and 2007 Calgary Rileys Best Ball Champions.
Sheryle feels most honored for being awarded PGA of Alberta Head Professional of the Year, followed by the PGA of Canada Murray Tucker Golf Professional of the Year in 2013. Criteria for both the provincial and national awards includes promotion of the sport, working with juniors, volunteering, PGA of Alberta and community involvement. Sheryle continues to build her skills, and carries a passion for the game of golf and Pinebrook G&CC.

Stu was born in Port of Spain, Trinidad. He holds degrees in History and Political Science at the University of Calgary, and has been in the golf industry for the better part of 20 years, working for extended periods of time at Valley Ridge GC, Country Hills GC, Springbank Links, and Silver Springs G&CC.
In 2016, Stu accepted the position of Head Golf Professional at Lynx Ridge GC. He also spent nine years as the Head Coach of both the Men’s and Ladies Golf Teams at the University of Calgary from 2002-2011, where he guided the Ladies team to 4 top 5 finishes at the RCGA/CIS National Championships.
Besides the pleasure he gets out of being able to help golfers enjoy the game to the best of their potential, Stu is most proud of being a four-time finalist for the Associate Professional of the Year Award with the PGA of Alberta from 2012-15.

Stefan is entering his third season at Pinebrook. He was born in Essex, England, and moved to Calgary with his girlfriend, Kristi, in 2015.
Stefan played many sports growing up, but chose to focus on golf at age 13. Competitive golf followed shortly after, and at age 17, Stefan moved to the US to play College golf and earn his degree. He spent two years in Fresno, California, won the California State Championship in 2009, and was then recruited to play at the highest collegiate level at The University of Arizona. Stefan’s best individual finish was at the Arizona Invitational, where he battled down the stretch with Andrew Putnam, eventually finishing in second place. Stefan competed in two Regional Championships and a National Championship in 2011.
After graduating with a degree in Psychology and minor in Business, Stefan turned Professional and entered into the National Pro Tour Qualifying School in the US, finishing third overall. Stefan still holds the course record at Boyce Hill Golf Club where he grew up, with a 62. Stefan joined the PGA of Canada in 2015 and found out quickly that he has a passion for Instruction and Coaching. Stefan still loves to compete and plays as much as he can on the PGA of Alberta circuit, winning a Professional Series event at Heritage Pointe in 2016. Stefan has thoroughly enjoyed his time at Pinebrook so far, and strives to continue learning and improving as a Golf Professional.

Albert was born in South Africa and moved to Calgary with his wife in 2014. Growing up, Albert played many different sports including cricket, rugby, tennis and golf.
With his passion for golf, Albert started his golf career at the age of 17, and a year later represented South Africa in the U/18 team. Albert started as an amateur golfer in 2000 and ranked 4th on the SAGA rankings in 2005. Albert holds a Professional Golf Diploma, Sports Management and Coaching Diploma, and rounded off his education with a Higher Certificate in Personal Fitness Training (NQF Level 5) and a Standard First Aid with CPR/AED Level C Certificate from AHASTI.
Prior to working in Calgary at both Golf Town and River Spirit Golf Club for the past two years, Albert spent seven years playing Professional Golf on the Sunshine/European Tour with an impressive list of career highlights, including top 50 on the order of merit for 5 years, and achieving an overall world ranking of 700th. Albert’s tour school highlights include the winner of the First Stage Asian Tour School in Thailand and second place finish at the Sunshine Tour School, with a total score of -18. His top individual career highlights include a second place finish at the Nedbank Affinity Cup in 2009 (lost in playoff), and a second place finish on the Sunshine Tour Event in 2007 at Dainfern. He achieved more than 50 top 10 accomplishments, and 8 hole-in-one’s during his golf career. His most memorable moment in golf was winning the Sunshine Tour Event at Glendower in 2011.
As a passionate professional golfer and coach, Albert joined the PGA of Canada in 2016. Albert is an ambitious, highly motivated and career-driven individual, and he is very excited to start his first year at Pinebrook, striving to continue learning and growing as a golf professional. As a golf instructor, applying biomechanical coaching methods, he is committed to understanding each client’s specific needs, and helping them own their swing and master the four skills of putting.
